Die Entwicklung eines Manipulator-Befehlsmoduls basiert auf dem Softwareprojekt SMAR, das in der Sprache Visual C++ mit den Open Inventor-Bibliotheken für die 3D-Modellierung erstellt wurde.Derzeit wird ein Modul benötigt, in dem Informationen über einen fahrenden Manipulator gespeichert und verwaltet werden können. Dieses Innovationsprojekt dokumentiert die notwendigen Kenntnisse, um die erforderliche Funktionsweise des SMAR zu verstehen, grundlegende Kenntnisse der Robotik, objektorientierte Programmierung in Visual C++, neben anderen erforderlichen Kenntnissen, die Durchführung einer Analyse und das Design eines Moduls mit Grundfunktionen, von denen das Modul später in seiner endgültigen Version gestartet werden kann.Es ist geplant, dass das Systemmodul in Zukunft die Informationen verarbeitet, wenn der Manipulator Bewegungen ausführt, entweder autonom oder kontrolliert. Die Informationen würden im SMAR verarbeitet, und die Bewegungen würden dann auf einem simulierten Modell des Manipulators gleichzeitig mit den realen Bewegungen des Manipulators angezeigt werden.
