When Gordon Tyler-Jones is found hanging in his Knightsbridge apartment, the hallowed law firm of Henderson Brothers laments the loss of a rising star. But when a German businessman, Herr Gottlieb, is found obscenely dead in his office in Hamburg a few days later, the finger points in the direction of the renowned investment bank, Baker, MacMillan and Passieux. It certainly is, and for added zest, media shenanigans and martial arts contribute to this finely balanced and hugely enjoyable modern morality tale spanning the West's most exciting cities.
