But after many turbulent years with Paul, Patricia found herself rejected due to his need for other men. Suffering from severe head injuries from a car accident and in a great deal of pain, she looked around one day and saw her old school Bible. She carefully moved from the bed, picked up the book, sat down, and opened it-entirely by chance-to Psalm 23. As she read the beautiful verses, tears poured down her face; she visualised the Lord, and her heart and soul were soothed.
