Synopsis "fy and aina (in English)"

FY and AINA, A New World Love Story, is a sequel to the first book in the Norse Trollology Series entitled CROSSING THE ARCTIC, A Norse Troll Story. In that book, Fy, A Norse Fjell Trollet or mountain troll, does cross the Arctic Ocean on foot from the Nordic World to Greenland and the New World in the days when there was more glacial ice. This second book begins with Fy from his mountain cave close to the ocean hearing plaintive cries for help. The story finds Fy struggling with loneliness, performing a water rescue, searching for a soul mate, and grappling with the hardships of living in an untamed New World. It is a look at what can happen if people of two oppposite culture like the Fjell trolls and the Nisse, who are small dwarf-like trolls, have compassion for the other's lifestyle. FY and AINA is a Norse fiction troll story, interspersing factual Nordic and North American geology with a mythological explanation of how the New World became populated with a diversity of people.
