Synopsis "Genesis (in English)"
In 2093, over twenty years after the end of the Third World War, where a tyrannical United States was defeated by the European Defense Initiative, a secret organization called the Sicarii are at the height of its power. Led by the High Council, the Sicarii control the government of the New States and influence the politics and movement of the rest of the world through information control and assassination. In order to ensure they stay hidden, the Sicarii has all rogue members killed, and the person currently responsible for those killings is Kai, leader of the fourth assassin squad, who is ordered to hunt down his lifelong friend Alphonse for betraying the Sicarii. Black Star, a freelance assassin and thief, is on the hunt for answers after his father, the famous scientist and war hero Alexander Stromberg was murdered by the Sicarii along with his mother Sylvia nine years prior. But for both killers, every answer leads to two more questions, and the endless cycle of death begins to eat at the very core of their being, leaving them to question even the simplest of truths.
