Synopsis "George & the Dragon - A Modern-Day-Play (in English)"

Bobby, a painter is repainting a pub when he finds a cache of sovereigns and some bonds. He visits Georgina, a broker who he knows through family connections. She listens to his story, but there is a twist. A gang of villains, using a courier company as a front, has discovered the haul too. George insists that Bobby return the cash to the crooks. Before he has an opportunity to offload the bonds, the crooks are on to him. He is pursued by the gang and one gets run over. Another is drowned chasing him while the third falls off a tube platform and the fourth falls off some scaffolding. Then, the tail kidnaps George. Bobby gives himself up in hope that they will let her go if the money is returned. He winds up in a disused furniture veneer factory on a trimming bench. George is tied up in the office. The motor of the saw starts up and the saw moves up between Bobby's legs. Helpless George waits to hear the scream. Can anyone of anything save them?
