Zinafon Singleton known as "Smoke Black", is a self-made hood millionaire born and raised in Harlem, New York West 149th Street. Smoke established a well-respected name for himself along with his childhood friends. But what happens when one of your family members, who has everything going for themselves wholesomely right, chooses to lust for the "so fast street-life" in which Smoke Black lives? Louis Ramos nickname "Cold as Ice"; is a seventeen-year-old boxer soon to turn pro next year; he got his name from fans due to knocking dudes out cold. Louis and Smoke Black are godbrothers, their fathers were best friends. When Louis's father was killed, Smoke Black and his father kept their word to make sure Louis was well taken care of. Louis begins developing a sour relationship with Smoke, he is determined on a coming-of-age quest to stand on his own two feet without Smoke and Smoke's father.
