Ben Maloney is a highly respected and decorated homicide detective for Los Angeles County. The evil vindictive sheriff discovers that Ben is having an affair with his wife. So the sheriff uses his wife as bait in a twisted plot that frames Ben and forces him to resign. Ben takes a detective job in the small desert community of Ridgecrest. A serial killer begins hanging the naked and mutilated bodies of his victims from the high tension power lines that run through the desert. With no clues or anything to go on it's Ben's job to find the killer.
