Synopsis "How to Edit a Book: With a Friend (in English)"
Part #12 of a popular series of self-help books for authors of any age and independent publishers of any genre, this book will save you a lot of trouble and possibly some money, too. Editing services are very expensive, for good reason: it is time-consuming and requiring of advanced education and skills. However, you, as a writer, are well equipped in both of those areas to be able to learn how to do it yourself, with a friend, of course. Why is that? Because it really does take, at least, two people to see everything. Nowadays, we have all of the advanced tools necessary to learn how to edit. This little book will take you through the steps to editing, using the Review tools of Microsoft Word software, version 2007 or higher. As with all of author Mercer's "How to For You" books, the steps are clear, complete, simple and easy to follow. We recommend you buy two copies, one for you and one for your editor. Please note: "How to Edit a Book" only teaches two people how to use the "Review/Track Changes command to edit a book. It does not teach you formatting, spelling, sentence and paragraph construction or the rules of grammar. There are books, courses and entire college degrees for that purpose.
