Revision, German Modification) bildet zusammen mit dem Operationen- und Prozedurenschlussel (OPS) die Basis fur die Entgeltsysteme in der ambulanten und stationaren Versorgung. Diagnosen mussen im ambulanten und stationaren Bereich nach der ICD-10-GM verschlusselt werden. Die Verschlusselung erfolgt auf der Basis des Systematischen Verzeichnisses der ICD-10-GM. Das Verzeichnis wird alljahrlich auf der Basis von Vorschlagen von medizinischen Fachgesellschaften sowie Fachleuten aus Arzteschaft, Krankenkassen und Kliniken sowie aus weiteren Organisationen der Selbstverwaltung im Gesundheitswesen uberarbeitet. Die Version 2020 ist gultig ab dem 01.01.2020.
