La personalidad puede ser calcada con todos sus atributos, hasta en los detalles más nimios, puede transferirse de un hombre a otro sin variaciones sustanciales, y también puede crearse a partir de distintos modelos. Sin embargo, no puede aspirar a la originalidad. Por decirlo con palabras de Gombrowicz, el autor más aludido en el presente ensayo, la autenticidad está fuera del alcance humano.
