En 2003 se conmemoran los veinticinco años del Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas y, al mismo tiempo, el cuadragésimo aniversario de la creación del Instituto de Opinión Pública, organismos ambos dedicados al análisis e investigación social, que han sido testigos de los cambios y transformaciones que ha experimentado la sociedad española.
