Jumpy the young kangaroo loves to jump over termite nests in the Australian Outback. H wants to jump higher and better than anyone else, but sometimes wanting to win makes him forget other important things like friendship and consideration. His good friend, Wally, gets caught up in Jumpy's competitiveness. In fact, Jumpy almost loses Wally's friendship over his boasting and desire to always win. He realises his mistake just in time, managing to retain his friendship and learn a good lesson about positive competition. Dr. Dee is a retired teacher, school counselor, and psychotherapist, with a passion for writing happy, motivating, children's stories that have a message.
