With the advent of digital publishing, it seemed to me that here was an opportunity to publish a series of short stories in 'bite-sized chunks', either as a collection or individually, at regular intervals. After all, Dickens and Conan Doyle to name but two, had their works serialised, and whilst I wouldn't presume to compare my writing with theirs, if it was good enough for them it's certainly good enough for me. Although I originally intended to publish the Karno series of novels as ebooks, I decided, as an experiment, to also publish in paperback format and been surprised at how many paperback versions of the first Karno novel have been brought.
