Synopsis "La Fuente"

En un viaje de trabajo, hallándose de paso por un pequeño pueblo sin hotel local, el narrador acepta la hospitalidad de la anciana Lottie. Ella es ahora la única ocupante de la vasta residencia barroca de la familia Ardenne. Noche tras noche, irá contando al visitante la historia de la mansión en la que ingresó como niñera a principios del siglo XX. Según ella, su narración solo reproduce las historias de los demás, los fantasmas que habitaron aquellas paredes o que un día se marcharon hacia África, Tonkin o los bosques del Yukón. Pero ¿de dónde proceden y hacia dónde van esos relatos una vez recitados? Ni siquiera el narrador adivina cómo su escucha va a afectar a su propio destino.
