LA INTIMIDAD José Luis Pardo La intimidad no es el secreto sobre sí mismo que cada cual oculta pudorosamente a los demás, ni tampoco el fondo inefable que sólo yo sé y no puedo compartir. La intimidad es un efecto de lenguaje y, en cuanto tal, no solamente no excluye a los otros, sino que presupone una comunidad. Una comunidad, eso sí, implícita, que no se confunde con el espacio público ni con el tiempo privado de la Ciudad. En este libro se trata de deslindar estos dos órdenes (privacidad y publicidad, de una parte, intimidad y comunidad, de otra) y de mostrar que cada uno de ellos es al mismo tiempo el límite y la condición de posibilidad del otro.
