La isla misteriosa fue escrita y publicada por entregas durante dos años (1874-1875) y es una de las más famosas. En ella muestra la importancia de la ciencia en nuestras vidas, a través del personaje Ciro. Este libro ofrece al joven lector una adaptación del texto de Verne en español y en inglés, para que disfrute del gran clásico al tiempo que practica la lectura en dos idiomas.
