Synopsis "LA REBELIÓN DE LAS PALABRAS: SÁTIRAS Y OPOSICIÓN POLÍTICA EN ARAGÓN (1590-1626)"

Se recogen 42 sátiras políticas aparecidas en Aragón en los siglos XVI y XVII, a partir de las cuales es posible conocer mejor la sociedad aragonesa de la época, y en particular las razones que llevaron a una parte de ella a levantarse contra Felipe II en 1591 y a protestar cuarenta años después contra las reformas que pretendía introducir el conde duque de Olivares. El análisis de estos pasquines y panfletos ayuda a calibrar su importancia y demuestra que lo ocurrido en Aragón no constituyó una anormalidad dentro del contexto de la Edad Moderna europea.
