Andaba Satán suelto, buscando algo, en el cuerpo pellejudo de una lagartija. Las lagartijas huelen a hierba es una obra hermosa y terrible, con la que Cristina Sánchez-Andrade incorpora a la novela española todo el lirismo y la aspereza de la tradición europea del relato popular. Un cuento sin moraleja que, como las pesadillas de Kafka o los esperpentos de Valle-Inclán, nos descubre que la vida es drama y la bondad es sospechosa.
