Synopsis "Learn Igbo on the Go (in English)"
Learn Igbo on the Go is a conversational Igbo teaching resource designed to conveniently get you familiar with Igbo. This can be easily achieved while you perform routine activities, including commuting, working out, travelling, and even running errands. This book consists of words, phrases, and sentences spoken in English and repeated in Igbo twice. We allow a pause after each Igbo translation to encourage you, the listener, to verbalize what you hear in real-time. Our robust topics include pleasantries, introductions, occupation, family, sports, travelling, and much more as is evident in our table of contents. The primary dialect here is central Igbo, although you might hear a trace of certain dialects. You might also hear one or two combined English and Igbo words known as Engili-Igbo. PS: In 2012, UNESCO placed Igbo on the endangered language list. 'Learn Igbo on the Go' is a wholesome effort to help change that narrative for the next generation... by teaching teenagers and adults the Igbo language in a methodical and relatable format.
