Synopsis "Life Interrupted: Sharing Trials, Victories, and the Love of God (in English)"

This is a story of Pam's trials and victories, and experiencing God's healing, grace, and unconditional love. Pam is very real and raw in sharing this journey of breast cancer - from diagnosis to double mastectomy, from treatments to reconstruction. This book will have you laughing and crying, and make you very aware of God's faithfulness to every detail of your life. You will find that there are no victories without battles and that tomorrow is a better day. Pam was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2009 and this journey has given her a renewed understanding of God's healing power, grace and love. Pam shares the Word everywhere she goes and has traveled to the Philippines for missions, shares in other churches, conferences as well as women's retreats. Pam has written a book titled "Life Interrupted", it is a hard to put down book based on her challenges and victories with breast cancer. Her bubbly personality, love for Christ, and knowledge of excellence is evident in her daily walk. Everyone should have the opportunity to have this seasoned woman of God share her trials, her victories and her Jesus. Cancer isn't funny but humor is healing. Singing praises in your midnight hour causes you to realize that there may be sorrow in the night but joy comes in the morning. As someone who has gone through breast cancer (mastectomy, chemotherapy, and reconstruction) and gratefully came out the other side, I have learned firsthand that laughter and praise has its place and it sure helps. From going bald to losing twenty-five pounds the chemo diet way, humor and praise has been an effective weapon in my fight against this disease that is no respecter of persons. This is not to say that I laughed throughout my whole cancer experience; I didn't. This isn't to say that I sang praises every day, because I didn't. However, I often times found myself encouraging those who came by to cheer me up. I would put them at ease by asking them if they wanted to see my boob-less chest or my baldhead. Laughter helps, and so does talking to someone who's "been there." My prayer is that this book will help someone who is going through breast cancer, and also help those who love them. Faith, hope, praise, and a good dose of laughter can make a great difference in the journey you are now experiencing. Sharing with other women helps diffuse the fear of cancer. Cancer is not a life sentence - it is merely a word. I also hope this book will encourage women everywhere to get a mammogram today!
