However, Cox was thrown in prison after speaking out against the state police and their corrupt, drug-trafficking operations, which also involved supplying children for sex to numerous bureaucrats in exchange for those officials' continued concealment of the police drug dealing. Cox spent years in solitary confinement after being accused of "conspiring against the government."
