After Euchrid Troy’s family tragically dies in a fire, he goes from being a devout Christian to a serial killer, deciding to kill people who appear to lead empty lives in order to liberate them from what he perceives to be God’s cruelty. Then, to escape any suspicion, Euchrid fakes his own death. Sean Fischer, a retired FBI agent, is not fooled, though. Fischer guesses that Euchrid is the faceless killer, and what follows is a thrilling duel between two men seeking their own redemption.
