Synopsis "Me Llamo Hokusai"

Christian Peña fue ganador del Premio Bellas Artes de Poesía Aguascalientes 2014 gracias a la presente obra. En ella se reúne la plástica oriental del pintor y grabador Hokusai (Tokio 1760 - 1849) y un yo lírico cuyo nombre se encuentra diferido por toda la obra. Al recorrer la poesía el lector constantemente se preguntara: ¿quién es Hokusai? El artista japonés se hacía llamar de tantas maneras: Shunro, Sori, Kako, Taito, Gakyonjin, Iitsu. Todos estos nombres surgen en la vida de un niño aprendiendo a nadar, de un padre resuelto a enseñarle, de un enfermo de cáncer en un pulmón, de un mutilado, de una mujer pulpo y de un escritor.
