Am 19. und 20. Juli 2019 fand an der Staatlichen Ivane Javackishvili Universitat in Tiflis auf Initiative von Eric Hilgendorf und Ketewan Mtschedlischwili-Hadrich eine internationale Tagung zum Medizinstrafrecht statt, deren Vortrage im vorliegenden Band dokumentiert werden. Er erortert mit 16 Beitragen georgischer und deutscher Strafrechtswissenschaftler in bislang nicht erreichter Bandbreite grundlegende Wertkonflikte des modernen Medizinstrafrechts. Diskutiert werden ethische und rechtliche Grundfragen der Sterbehilfe sowie besondere Haftungsfragen unter anderem zu Fahrlassigkeit, Unterlassen, Doping, Korruption im Gesundheitswesen, Schwangerschaftsabbruch und zum Transplantationsrecht. Der Band enthalt die Beitrage in deutscher und in georgischer Sprache.
