Synopsis "Metamorphosis: Transformed from the Inside-Out (in English)"
People, teens and young adults especially, are constantly bombarded by messages that tell them who they should be, what they should look like, and how they must earn acceptance and success. As they move through life, they easily get distracted by the shiny objects of wealth and status that the world shows them they need in order to feel good about themselves. I have seen firsthand the struggles our teens and young adults go through to find meaning, purpose, acceptance, and love in their lives. They yearn for a life fulfilled, but only find emptiness in their relationships and possessions. Often times this leads them to try more extreme measures to experience some sort of fulfillment; leading to even more pain and rejection. However, Jesus tells a different story... It's not the things they do or the cool stuff they own. It's about allowing the Holy Spirit to change them into a new person, a new creation; to transform them into the amazing person God created them to be. Jesus says, to truly experience life, we must be born again. This book attempts to answer the question "What does it mean to 'let go and let God?'" as so many people have said before. What exactly does 'letting go' look like; and what am I supposed to be letting God do? It is a complex question that I've faced constantly in ministry, and is at the heart of what it means to be "born again." It is with these questions in mind that this book is constructed. It is divided into seven chapters, each building on the one before it. It will lead you on a journey, which will challenge you to really evaluate what is holding you back from God, and how God wants to work in your life. Founded in John 3:1-3, Metamorphosis will show you what it means to be transformed by the power of God; to be changed by the process of metamorphosis. You will learn what it means to live in a relationship with Christ and to be born again. You will begin not only to seek, but experience the Kingdom of God in your life.
