This while trying to distance herself from Charles one of the founding partners of the law firm whose romantic persistence is uncunning. She flees his advances at every turn not only because she is in no way attracted to him but also because Charles is engaged to be married to Cheryl the office executive assistant. Cheryl has convinced herself she has a battle to win as she is not about to lose the opportunity to be seen as the Wife of a Partner of a prestigious law firm to any other woman.
