Synopsis "Moscoviada"

Moscoviada (escrita en 1993) es una sinfonía cacofónica de despedida a la Unión Soviética, en la que el poeta ucraniano Otto von F. (en cierta medida un alter ego del autor), va becado a principios de los años noventa al Instituto Gorki de Moscú, capital y corazón descompuesto de un imperio en su ocaso, y descubre, un lluvioso día de mayo en que quiere comprar regalos, que ha dado con la cárcel Lubianka de la kgb. Se pierde por pasillos y escaleras, y acaba en las alcantarillas. En su errar se encuentra con los Servicios Secretos bajo un ejército de ratas. Virgilio en el infierno moscovita, alimentado con un humor hiperbólico y burlesco, enroscado en un carrusel vertiginoso, Andrujovich teje en esta novela un singular y personalísimo canto del cisne de un mundo en declive.
