You can list your favorite things, base life, vacations, friends, jobs, goals, challenges, and memories about each assignment. Are there places that your families want to come back and visit again? Are there people or employers that you may want as references someday? Every time a military person has to fill out a security clearance application they need to have references for each assignment. This is a great resource. Maybe your child qualified for a special program or school at an assignment. Document it, so that you remember for the next assignment.
