A primera vista podría parecer que estamos ante la antigua poética de la resonancia romántica: yo me 
hago uno con el árbol, el viento, la naturaleza, el mundo; pero en una versión actualizada, con 
aeroplanos, transbordadores, corriente eléctrica, radios etc. —de hecho, no tan actualizada, pues estas 
tecnologías no son precisamente nuevas. Pero no es el caso; estamos ante otra poética. Como querría 
Vallejo, asoma aquí una nueva sensibilidad y no sólo un vocabulario nuevo.  José Ignacio Padilla
