Synopsis "Organista de Montmartre, el"

El 14 de junio de 1940 las tropas alemanas entraban en París. Hitler tenía cincuenta años. El general von Streim, deseando complacer al Führer en su próximo aniversario, encarga la búsqueda de un regalo de existencia dudosa: una cantata de Bach extraviada en el siglo XVIII. Pero la trama de esta extraordinaria novela va mucho más allá de la narración de esa búsqueda: "El organista de Montmartre" contrapone dos historias paralelas: la del músico que apostó por una obra imposible y que acabó pactando con el diablo, con terribles consecuencias y la figura de un alto oficial del Reich, melómano wagneriano, de conciencia quebradiza, cuya misión le lleva al París ocupado, donde encontrará lo inconcebible en su errático afán por hallar la cantata perdida.
