The natural rhythms of life on the Earth change dramatically as storms, drought, rising seas and wildfires devour the landscape man has known since the dawn of civilization. The institutions that were built to assure civilization can exist are suddenly thrown into disarray. Food and water are no longer available, electrical power grids fail and vital transportation systems collapse. Chaos ensues as economies crumble, governments teeter and war erupts.
