Synopsis "Other Side of Yesterday (in English)"
Zina is compelled to shed her past by leaving tragic memories behind in her beloved home of Chicago, Illinois. She drops out of law school and relocates to Los Angeles, California after the tragic loss of fiancé Troy Blackwell. Add to that, Nina, her twin is comatose. However, the City of Angels offers exciting opportunities as well as a new love by the name of Donovan, a sexy drummer. Zina resists at first, however, love has a mind of its own. Donovan appears during a critical moment, or is it just serendipity?Zina is about her coins with a very successful paralegal business and a pricey Marijuana habit. Dealing with grief is too much for her to bear, and can only process the pain in small doses. Needless to say, she returns to Chicago for the holiday and unexpected joy awaits! However, bliss is short-lived, upon returning home, she discovers Donovan betrayed her. Zina refuses to overlook his indiscretion and kicks him to the curb, but he is relentless and determined to win her back Although she is conflicted about Donovan, something deeply disturbing is about to unfold which rocks Zina's world.
