Nadia El-Seoud analysiert die lebensweltlichen Bezüge der Physiotherapie und geht der Frage nach, wie sich Lebensweltorientierung gegenwärtig in der Physiotherapie darstellt. Hierzu befragte sie praktisch tätige Physiotherapeuten und Physiotherapeutinnen mittels qualitativer, problemzentrierter Interviews und konkretisiert die Ergebnisse u.a. anhand der Bildung von Idealtypen. Insgesamt wird deutlich, dass Physiotherapeut*innen wichtige Gesundheitspartner*innen sein können, die durch den Einbezug der psychosozialen Ebene und den damit einhergehenden Bezügen zur Lebenswelt der Menschen nicht nur zur Gesundheit Einzelner, sondern auch zur Gesundheit von Bevölkerungsgruppen und damit zur gesundheitlichen Chancengleichheit beitragen können.
