Sedentary behaviour and poor eating habits are associated with the development of chronic low-grade inflammation, which is a metabolic process characteristic of several chronic degenerative and/or non-transmissible diseases (CNCDs), including cancer. For this reason, the scientific community has discussed the application of physical exercise (PE) as a non-pharmacological strategy for cancer prevention.
