Yet, with but the closing of your own eyes, you can remember that it wasn't that long ago that it was you who was welcomed into your family, your presence forever changing your parents and the world around you. It is with wonderment and pride that you watch your children grow and develop, their maturation as different and as similar as your own, each day filled with the hopes, happiness, sorrow, grief, and enjoyment that your parents felt. As the days fade to weeks, months to years, and the present to the future, you learn to appreciate the uniqueness of a child's personality, the person that they will become as much molded in your hands as their own. Poetry 4 Our Children is a collection of poems designed to carry the reader along the journey of life, from birth to eternity.
