It touches on the philosophical as well as the more tangible aspects of the human condition. Every realm of human understanding has been impacted by such species and substances; politics, sociology, psychology, and most especially, and within the main topic of this book itself; spirituality and religion, which at all times garnered whatever wisdom it had from those in times past who had imbibed most natural substances known to man.
