Synopsis "Pueblo frente al mar"

Lo primero que hace el protagonista de este cuento al despertar es asomarse a la ventana: ahí está el mar, con su deslumbrante inmensidad. Como cada día de verano, juega con su amigo, camina hasta la tienda del pueblo, visita la tumba de su abuelo. Pero mientras las horas pasan, sus pensamientos van una y otra vez hacia su padre, que trabaja en las minas de carbón, ahí mismo, bajo el mar. Un bello relato, que con un lenguaje simple y cercano, transporta al lector hasta una realidad que marcó la infancia de tantos niños en las minas de carbón del sur de Chile.
