Synopsis "R- la Isla Negra (Las Aventuras de Tintin Rustica)"

Tintín emprende esta vez un viaje a Escocia siguiendo la pista de unos malhechores. Descubrirá el secreto que encierran los muros del castillo de Ben More, en la isla Negra, y a su misterioso monstruo. La isla Negra aparece en Le Petit Vingtième del 15 de abril de 1937 al 16 de junio de 1938. El álbum fue editado por primera vez a finales de 1938 en blanco y negro. En 1943 se pasó a color reduciendo el número de páginas a 62. En el año 1965 , al realizarse la traducción inglesa, el editor británico señaló a Hergé numerosos errores que contenía este volumen desde el punto de vista inglés. Hergé envió a su colaborador Bob de Moor a Inglaterra con la lista de errores y el encargo de rejuvenecer y autentificar la historia. Así La isla Negra fue totalmente redibujada y modernizada. Es de observar que ya en la edición de 1937 sale un televisor, y aunque los primeros ensayos datan de 1923 era aún entonces un invento relativamente confidencial.

Hergé fue el creador de Las aventuras de Tintín en 1929,1 que a día de hoy siguen ejerciendo una importante influencia en el mundo de la historieta, particularmente en Europa. Además de esta serie, Hergé creó otras con diferentes personajes, entre las que cabe señalar Las aventuras de Jo, Zette y Jocko y Quique y Flupi.
