Synopsis "Rafael Porlan. Poesias"

Rafael Porlán y Merlo (Córdoba, 1899 - Jaén, 1945) fue un excelente poeta, narrador, ensayista, crítico, dramaturgo y traductor en la órbita del ´27´. Fue secretario de Mediodía. Revista de Sevilla, publicó el libro de aforismos Pirrón en ´Tarfía´ (1926) y ´Romances y canciones´ (Jaén, 1936). Una parte de su obra póstuma, muestra de su altura lírica (entre la poesía pura, el neopopularismo y el surrealismo), aparece en la antología ´Poesías´ (Jaén, 1948), de la que ahora edita su facsímil la Universidad de Jaén.
