Synopsis "Retuerta"

Israel, un muchacho ciego de catorce años, vive con su madre en Retuerta, un territorio imaginario, agreste y atemporal, cuando se produce la muerte repentina de su madre, desmoronándose el mundo de protección y afecto que ella había creado para el hijo. El padre regresa para hacerse cargo del muchacho y comienza una relación de mutuo descubrimiento, plagada de incógnitas, secretos y medias verdades. La relación en el pasado de los padres con una banda de bandidos que tiene atemorizados a los habitantes de Retuerta y un desafortunado incidente del padre con uno de los maleantes, obligan a padre e hijo a abandonar la casa materna y a huir desesperadamente por el monte y los barrancos hasta llegar a la casa del padre, donde esperan esconderse y poder vivir en paz.
