Synopsis "Robert nye [Próxima Aparición]"

Nye fue un prestigioso novelista a la vez que un crítico sagaz, tanto en el ámbito narrativo como en el poético. Fue editor de poesía de The Scotsman, y crítico de poesía de The Times desde 1971 hasta 1996, al tiempo que colaboraba en The Guardian. Sin embargo, y a pesar de haber recibido varios premios en el mundo de la poesía, entre ellos el Eric Gregory Award por su segundo libro de poesía “Juvenilia” en 1963, o el Premio Cholmondeley, a propuesta de la Sociedad de Autores del Reino Unido, por su antología “The rain and the glass”, 2004, su obra poética ha quedado relegada injustamente a un segundo plano. Incomprensiblemente, en España su obra poética no había sido traducida hasta la fecha.
