Synopsis "S. O la Esperanza de Vida"

S. o la esperanza de la vida, primera novela de Alexandre Diego Gary, es la historia de un superviviente, de su autor hijo del escritor Romain Gary y de la actriz Jean Seberg y también su protagonista que, de Parñis a San Sebastián y Barcelona huye impulsado por la perentoria necesidad de ahogarse en alcohol y abandonarse entre los brazos de las prostitutas, de soltar el lastre de la herencia de la celebridad de su padres y su trágico destino, y sobre todo, de hacer callar a los muertos para salvarse: « Callad, muertos, pese a todo el respeto que os debo. Ahora tengo yo la palabra.» La novela nos recuerda así lo que debemos a los muertos, pero también cuánto nos han robado, y se convierte en una tierna y emocionante lección de vida.
