Just when the king has given up all hope, the arrival of a young boy armed with a magic thesaurus and a talent for making paper planes promises a last grain of hope for Pandemonia, but will it be enough?Saving Pandemonia is an uplifting raucous tale of a battle between logic and chaos - where expectations are turned topsy turvy and with the twists and turns of the plot, the outcome is uncertain until the very last page. The underlying theme of words and their meanings adds an educational slant (but not one the children will notice) and the plethora of endearingly fallible characters lends a spark of realism to what is otherwise a comic fantasy novel. There's something for everyone, and a pervasive humour that will cross the generational boundaries and appeal to children and adults alike. If you're a fan of Mr Gum, the Mr Men, Monty Python, Outnumbered or Miranda, you'll love this.
