Karrie Mallory needs a break from her stressful job as an ER nurse in Phoenix, Arizona. Some might say he failed in the big city, and some might say he’s living in the past, but Dax doesn’t deal in gossip or drama. His ex-wife didn’t want kids, and the coaching position is the perfect fit for a former basketball star who loves the game and the kids.
