Synopsis "Son Burn: The Choices We Have To Live With (in English)"
Some choices we can live with, some we cannot. Kevin and Karin got married as healthy virgins, yet their son was born sick, as the result of an STD. This leaves the question, "how?" Growing up in the late '80's early '90's was no walk in the park for a young Kevin Lucas. His father was killed when Kevin was a mere 3-years, leaving him to be raised by his mother and older sister. Masculinity was a quality Kevin failed to develop. He accepted what made him different from the other boys and developed that very thing into his passion. With dreams of becoming a fashion designer, he spent day and night perfecting the craft. Girls were of no relevance to him until Karin Taylor stumbled along. Karin was the "It Girl" in school. With her parents being in the military, she moved around quite a bit. Having lived in Japan and Germany, this enabled her to speak a few different languages. She also happened to be the most attractive girl in school, and all the boys wanted her. Not sharing the same agenda as the others, Kevin was also one of them. He saw something else in Karin. Upon their journey into matrimony, Kevin was presented with the opportunity to work abroad under the great, world-renowned designer Michael Leipzig. Michael became more than a temporary employer. He opened Kevin's mind to life, creativity, and to being free. While Kevin was experiencing the world as never before, Karin was home struggling with being newly married, but an ocean away from her husband. The man she shared her first and wonderful sexual experience with. Kevin took an early vacation to fly back and be with his wife. It was then when he impregnated her.
