Synopsis "Soul Salvagers (in English)"
This is a witty, fast-paced, modern-day comedy which explores the age-old question, "Are people inherently evil or good, or rather do they choose to become that way through their life experiences?" As a Long Island, New York family of organic apple growers battle against a Trumpesque corporate juggernaut and his evil empire, we discover their ancient heritage and learn their 'families' have been engaged in the business of Soul Salvaging since Creation. Pipe-smoking, whip-cracking, matriarch Faith Story (75), her daughter Grace (47), and granddaughter Melody (15) find themselves in an epic battle of good versus evil when a Trumpesque corporate juggernaut, Horus Balzsack (67), becomes determined to crush their organic apple orchard business. As Chairman of the Board and CEO of the world's largest biochemical company (SynToxGen), Horus will let nothing stand in the way of the successful launch of his company's new pesticide, GrowndZero. During the reconnaissance mission to the apple orchard that Horus orders Sue Yu (28), the Chief Legal Counsel of SynToxGen, and two other zany corporate board members to conduct, they unexpectedly befriend Faith and Melody. Together, Sue and Faith learn to whip and rope in the orchard barn under the guidance of 4'9" whip master Wild Bill Whippy. When Horus realizes that he has to take matters in to his own hands, things don't go exactly as Horus intends and Sue is forced to finally reveal her secret to her new best friend Faith. Will Faith forgive her? As the story progresses, Grace hires high-energy Todd Goodson (22) to help run the orchard stand. Todd's older brother Gene is a Catholic priest. After a very important birth, Horus and the Goodson brothers become partners in a unique enterprise where the ultimate showdown between good and evil takes place.
