Davies argues that the Democrats, under a President Biden government, will become China's enablers and reverse the process that has been achieved in the last 4 years. Meanwhile, the political and business leaders of other nations states around the world bow to China, either as willing partners or from fear of what they might lose if they express their views contrary to Chinese orthodoxy. Davies asserts that the nations of Africa, the author's ancestral continent, whose nascent democracies are susceptible to corruption and undemocratic tendencies, can be willingly railroaded by a marauding nouveau-colonialist China. In this geopolitical climate only the USA can resist China in its quest for world supremacy by electing the right forces in November 2020.
