Synopsis "Sunwing (Las Tres Edades)"

Inspirado, en parte, en el programa de alto secreto «Project X-Ray» del ejército norteamericano durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial -con el que se pretendía adosar explosivos en cuerpos de murciélagos adiestrados para que los hicieran explotar-, Sunwing continúa con diferentes aventuras de estos murciélagos, ya aparecidos en su premiado antecesor Silverwing (Siruela, 2002). Una peligrosa aventura lleva a Shade, el pequeño murciélago Silverwing, y a su compañera Marina a la selva del sur y a la tierra de Goth –ahora convertido en rey de los gigantescos murciélagos caníbales, los Vampyrum Spectrum–. Después de luchar contra terribles mantis religiosas y barracudas, y con la ayuda de un príncipe búho y de un ejército de ratas, Shade deberá utilizar toda su inteligencia, rescatar a su padre e impedir que Goth condene al mundo a la noche eterna.
