Until we are able to control the problem, we need ways to help the couples who suffer from this menace. In India, infertility is like a curse. Due to this, couples fight a personal, family and social war at every moment of their life. Numerous advances in science and technology have enabled us to help these couples to fulfill their dreams of having a baby. In some cases, nature poses bigger challenges, and as a last resort, advanced forms of treatment such as IVF, and rarely, surrogacy becomes necessary. Surrogacy enables a genetic link between the desiring parents and their child, making the bonding between them stronger, leading to a happy family and a happy society. All fertility treatment options, including surrogacy, are very important to help these couples. Surrogacy needs regulation to control the medical, social, ethical, moral, legal, commercial, constitutional, parental, emotional and international issues relating to the treatment.
